      I don't think season 2 was mid, it was just more focused in dialogue and world building. It was still peak

        I understand you bro. But Makoto was a kid still, like 15/16 years old. He was very naive in the ways of the world yet. So it made sense for him to be "afraid" of something he didn't understand. And he was not actually afraid, just worried. But yeah, that's my opinion. Also, Rimuru was a experienced member of society, and he still suffered by being naive for a while. I agree Slime did a better job, but Tsukimichi was not mid by any means. It was not great, but at least good.

      It depends. There are fights. There are nice fights, but in my opinion the author went too much into economics. I'm stuck on the 384th chapter and somehow can't bring myself to continue reading. On the installment it lies and matures. And season two was boring, as it was in this novel. It's not an invention of those who shot the series.
